Setting up Crystal IPTV
Every guide below uses the same three pieces of information we send you: username, password and server URL. Enter them once and the channels, guide and VOD library appear. Nothing here requires jailbreaking, rooting or modified firmware.
What you were sent
Use the Xtream Codes option wherever the app offers it, so you get the EPG, VOD and groups. The M3U link is for apps that only take a playlist.
Amazon Firestick & Fire TV
The most common setup, and the one most of our customers use.
- Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and enable Apps from Unknown Sources. (On newer sticks you may first need to tap the Fire TV build number seven times to reveal Developer Options.)
- From the Amazon app store, search for and install the free Downloader app.
- Open Downloader and enter the download address for IPTV Smarters or TiViMate. Ask us on WhatsApp for the current link. We would sooner send you a working one than publish an address that goes stale.
- Install the APK when the download finishes, then open it.
- Choose Login with Xtream Codes API, enter your username, password and server URL, and confirm.
- Wait while the channel list, EPG and VOD load. This only takes time on the first sign-in.
Tip: on a basic Firestick, IPTV Smarters is lighter than TiViMate and stutters less. On a Fire TV Stick 4K or a Max, TiViMate is worth it for the guide alone.
TiViMate (Android TV boxes, Nvidia Shield, Firestick 4K)
- Install TiViMate from the Google Play Store on Android TV, or via Downloader on a Firestick.
- Open it and choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes.
- Enter the server URL, username and password, then give the playlist a name.
- Let it process the EPG. On a lineup this size the first guide load takes a couple of minutes.
- Optional, but do it anyway: build a favourites list of the 20 or 30 channels you watch. It turns 22,000+ channels from overwhelming into usable.
IPTV Smarters (Android, iOS, Windows, macOS)
- Install IPTV Smarters Player from your platform's app store.
- Select Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter any name you like, then the username, password and server URL.
- Tap Add User. Live TV, Movies and Series appear as separate sections.
Samsung & LG Smart TVs
- Open your TV's own app store and install IBO Player (or an equivalent IPTV player available for your model).
- The app shows a MAC address and a device key on screen.
- Send us those two values on WhatsApp and we will load your playlist onto the device.
- Restart the app and your channels will be there.
Smart TV apps are convenient, but they are slower than a dedicated stick. If your TV has a few years on it, a cheap Firestick will feel noticeably quicker.
iPhone, iPad & Apple TV
- Install IPTV Smarters Player from the App Store.
- Choose Xtream Codes login and enter the details we sent.
- On Apple TV, sign in the same way; use the phone app first if typing with the remote is painful.
MAG boxes & Enigma2 receivers
MAG-style boxes need the device MAC address registering against a portal, and Enigma2 receivers take an M3U or a bouquet file. Send us your MAC, or tell us which receiver image you are running, and we will send back the right portal or file. No guessing needed.
Fixing buffering, in the order that works
Nine out of ten buffering reports are solved by one of the first three items below. Only the last one is our problem:
- Turn the VPN off, or move it closer. A VPN exit on another continent adds latency to every single packet. If you need a VPN, pick a nearby endpoint on a fast provider.
- Use Ethernet on the main TV. Wi-Fi through two walls is the single most common cause of "freezes every few minutes". A powerline adapter is a cheap fix if you cannot run a cable.
- Raise the buffer in the app. Both TiViMate and Smarters expose a buffer setting. A slightly longer buffer trades one second of start-up delay for a much smoother stream on a shaky line.
- Clear the app cache and reboot the device. Firesticks in particular slow down badly once they fill up.
- Try an HD group instead of 4K. 4K needs both bandwidth and a device that can decode it; the HD feed of the same channel is far more forgiving.
- If one specific channel misbehaves while the rest are fine, that is a source problem at our end. Message us and we will move you to a different feed of that channel.
Send us the device, the app and the channel name when you report a problem. Those three details usually let us answer in one message instead of five.
Setup questions
Which app should I use?
On a Firestick or Android box, TiViMate gives the best guide and recording features while IPTV Smarters is simpler and lighter. On Samsung or LG, IBO Player is the usual choice. On iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, use IPTV Smarters. All of them take the same credentials.
Do I enter the M3U link or the Xtream Codes login?
Use the Xtream Codes login (username, password, server URL) whenever the app offers it, because it pulls in the EPG, the VOD and the channel groups properly. The M3U link is there as a fallback for apps that only take a playlist.
Why is my channel list empty after logging in?
Nine times out of ten it is a typo in the server URL, or the line is not activated yet. Type the details in again slowly, watching for trailing spaces and a missing http://. If it still fails, send us a screenshot and we will check the line from our side.
How do I stop buffering?
In order of how often it works: turn off the VPN or move it to a nearby server, use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi, raise the buffer setting in the app, clear the app cache, and switch to an HD group instead of 4K on a weak connection.
Can I install my line on more than one device?
Yes. Install the credentials wherever you like. The limit is on simultaneous streams, not installations, so one connection means one screen playing at a time.
Does the setup change when I renew?
No. A renewal extends the same username and password, so your apps keep working with the settings and favourites already saved.
